The Sri Chinmoy Sydney Series goes bush, to the sublime Royal National Park south of the city. Immerse yourself in pristine forest on a lovely trail run. Because you’ll want to enjoy this magical realm to the max, a full MARATHON joins the Half-Marathon, 10km and 5km for a full suite of classic distances. Parking is near Willow Tree Flat, past Audley. National Park admission fee of $12 per vehicle applies. Alternatively, take our shuttle van from Loftus Station for $10 return, departing regularly from 6.30am. Comprising four timed races for the seniors starting with a 42.2km marathon through beautiful South West Rocks and along scenic South West Rocks Rd to Hat Head Rd returning in the same direction, followed by a 21.1km half marathon, 10km run and 5km along the same route. For the juniors we have four untimed fun runs along Trial Bay beach starting with a 300m run for the 5 year olds up to 2km for the 11-13 year olds. Each winner receives a medal and prize money with each finisher receiving a medal. Presentation is at 12pm with lucky door prizes generously donated by local businesses. The 3 Marathons in 3 Days is a staged trail race in the tropical rainforsets of Far North Queensland. It is run over three consecutive days over three different courses. Located on the stunning Sunshine Coast, Queensland near the barrier reef and Steve Irwin's iconic Australia Zoo, this not-for-profit event has been timed to make the most of the ideal Queensland winter running conditions. Blue skies, low humidity and mild temperatures - combined with a flat course always enable fast times. The course record currently stands at 2:18:30 set by Ethiopian, Samuel Woldemanuel in 2015. Event distances include the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and the 2km. Each road race follows the stunning coastline of Alexandra Headlands with white sandy beaches and spectacular vantage points alongside the ocean. The Half Marathon is a one loop course with Marathon entrants completing a multi loop course (1 x 21km + 2 x 10.5km) making the most of the on-course entertainment and crowds of spectators before a red carpet 'hero' finish.
