Have just been relocated with work to Melbourne, can anyone tell me who are the big Tri clubs here, what day they meet etc etc, have been doing tri for ten years, mainly IM and half IM keen to get riding with a bunch of like minded ... thanks

summer of 06/07 ill be joing the yarra tri club as they are sponsered by the bike shop i go to which is mascot cycles in bridge road richmond, ask to speak to ray and mention that frank sent you. :)

hey guys im new to this site but i can give you a red hot tip KNOX TRI CLUB IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER JOINED. its a working class club with great people of many abilitie lots of ironmen.

Depends what side of town you're on. Inner and/or inner east, Melb or Yarra. Outer east, Knox or Manningham. Outer southeast, Mornington. Anything west, WSTC.
I was involved in the WSTC. A great bunch who run regular club sprint races all year round and have a big IM/HIM contingent.

I belong to TriBal (not listed on the trivic website) these guys train in my area & they're a friendly bunch of people. There's training sessions on 6 mornings & 6 nights a week. The group ranges from beginner to multiple IMs. I'd say this would be the norm for most tri clubs here...

Hey and welcome to melb. If you live near the bay then bayside is a great club (www.baysidetriclub.com) we have members who do sprint distance upto ironman and great training sessions, in summer there are aquathons every thursday night which are great fun! :)
