Reading the paper we just noticed the advert
under "Surf Lifesaving" :rolleyes:
Brisbane, Channel 9, 1.30 to 2.30pm (so possibly different for Daylight saving)
Busselton Ironman 2005

Karisma you are correct. It is on in Sydney on Channel 9 from 1:30pm-2:30pm.
Also Adelaide channel 9/ Tassie on Win/Melbourne on 9/Perth on 9/ACT on Win, all local times.
And for Minersrun it is on NBN. :D

Ta Mate - right you were, and not a bad coverage I thought considering it was only an hour long.
It's amazing how a relatively emotionless, and hugely abridged version of the event can still get you choked up B)

It wasn't a bad coverage. I would have liked a bit more 'behind the scenes' and profiles of normal athletes, like the Hawaii coverage tends to do.
Very motivating though. Made me keen to get out this morning for a long cycle!
It did, however, make me less keen to do the WA Ironman. 180ks on a bike with no hills???? :unsure: :)
