My wife would like to try doing a aquathon after watching me do my second triathlon but she does not want to do the ride. She has been scared of riding since I meet her(I think she is strange cause I love cycling) :rolleyes: .So I was wondering if anyone knows of anty events that might suit her

When would she like to do one? How about this weekend? There is an aquathlon at Birkdale this weekend.

There aren't that many around though.

Unfortunately, the aquathon (or aquathlon if you prefer) is a rare breed indeed. They're my personal favourite of all types of racing, but are rarer than hen's teeth to hunt down.

There's one in Yamba usually just after Christmas time (close to New Years). There's also a few around the Sydney and Wooloongong area in Jan/Feb. Not sure if there's many up north though.

They tend to team them up with other events. There's usually one with the Noosa tri, I think, so there might be one with Mooloolaba as well.
