Hi All

New to riding, I have been using my mountain bike to and from work, but I joined a gym and have been doing a few spin classes.

To get used to cleats I was going to look at buying a second pair of cycle shoes but am stuck on, are there different cleats? I am not sure the ones they use in spin classes which I will be predominately using them for. Has anyone done a spin class and use cleats? What are the name of the ones I should be using?

The cleats on spin bikes at FF are the SPD variety I think. The smaller form cleats compared to Look style ones, normally used more for a MTB I think.

yeah - i discovered that when I thought I'd be smart and take my cycling shoes in for a class and kept trying and trying and they just wouldn't clip on... what a dork smile.gif So I don't know what mine are called - but they aren't those ones!

Yep, go and buy the cleat that will be screwed into the base of the shoe.
