Go to the web site http://www.myspace.com:80/painathlon to view details of this event, and register your interest.

Its on Saturday August 4th, so there's plenty of time to prepare, and its to raise money for a good cause (Variety WA). It would also be a good hitout for the Busselton Ironman.

Simmo, This race looks MAD!!!

How does the format work, is it a non stop race and all the different coarses link up or is there breaks in between?

Cheers

** All Good, I re read the Myspace webpage and it answers my question. Crazy Race. **

Hi,

Thanks to Tony Simpkins for originally putting up this post. The word about 'Painathlon '07' has definitely spread far and wide. From the trial runs it's looking the goods as an extremely tough but enjoyable hit-out all around Perth.
Importantly, we also hope to get together $10,000 for Variety WA kid charity from all competitors getting a bit of sponsorship for their efforts. It will all add up to a great experience.

The entries are coming in steadily for what will be a fairly select group of lactic-acid loving freaks.

The course is designed to break your spirit but fire you up aswell! To finish all 10 challenges will be a major achievement. If not that then knock off as many of the 10 as you can before the finish at sundown.

It's just on 3 weeks now til the onset of Pain on August 4th and things have definitely fallen into place.

For all competitors a recovery party awaits them 1km from the finish at Physio Solutions in West Perth where sore bodies can be kneaded and craving stomachs filled.

Check myspace.com/Painathlon for all the latest updates and pics of the course

Enquries are still welcome to Painathlon@hotmail.com

Entries Close July 27th so be quick if you want to say you were part of the first PAINATHLON!!

Get hold of an entry form HERE!! or from the webpage.
