Hi all

I have friends who won't be in town for the Port Mac HIM weekend. They have a very nice (as in, candidate for 'Home Beautiful' nice) 2-storey home in Arncliffe Avenue, located near Rocky Beach / Flynns Beach less than 50m from the bike/run course in Pacific Drive. 2 Bedrooms and perfect for a family, but also able to sleep up to 6.

$160 a night being offered, and the house is available from Thursday night 1st November, through to Tuesday the 6th.

Arncliffe Ave has western access into town via Lord Street, so spectators won't be boxed in on the day either.

Maybe we can all chip in and it can be CR headquarters for the weekend - Will/Colin/Plu/Mango/Peterhorse etc.

Sorry to disappoint Hamburglar but I won't be doing Port Mac as the change of date has resulted in a clash with another important event. Good luck to everyone competing.
