I was watching the news last night and they had a bit of a feature on her going for a run that morning with the fact that she was actually a marathon runner.
Does this mean that she is an occasional jogger that has completed a marathon at some stage in her life? Or does she regularly go for a run and enter races (of whatever distance)?
From memory she was wearing a Pat Carrol Training Group cap so I thought that someone on here might know.

She is a regular at Pat carrolls group, say once a week or every other week. Im not sure what she has entered but I know her PB is 14:06 for the 3km TT - which makes her about 10 minutes quicker than Mr Beattie over the same distance.

Well that's good to see.

Anna is a fantastic example to all the people out there who "don't have time" to exercise.

Last time I spoke to her about it Anna said she had seriously contemplated a full but was keen to get her half marathon time down first.
She also does a fair bit of cycling, and can be spotted some weekends flying around the river loop.

State Premiers can find time to run marathons.
Former SA Premier John Bannon ran many marathons while Premier in the 80s/early 90s, several under 3 hours. He also ran the London Marathon once and was "promoted" to Prime Minister by a British journalist.
John finished all 28 Adelaide Marathons up to 2006, and started his 29th recently but unfortunately was unable to finish.
Good luck to Anna Bligh in both careers!

Maybe it is something to do with Qld Labor Premiers. The labor Premier back in the 80s, Wayne Goss, was also a runner. I remember doing a Gold Coast Half Marathon in 1988, in which he ran.
I assume as Premier, they have security with them wherever they go. So assume the security team is about to start running, if they don't already. Wonder if they have to pay to join pcrg???

No favouritism at PCRG...even celebritys pay and we treat them all the same.
