Why is Mottram still getting around Europe racing at probably 70% of what he is capable of? Ins't the dude meant to be injured? Why isn't his coach/manager pulling the pin on his racing and making sure they guy recovers correctly or is it going to cost them both too much money?

I would think finishing back of the pace & out of the places would only hurt him in this future competitions and would probably dee value his future appearnace fee price.

Someone smart in his camp should tell him to rest!

I too find this very strange. He is also running in the Berlin marathon today, as a pacemaker for Sonia O' Sullivan.

Maybe he is not really injured.

Maybe he plans to run the marathon next and wants to suss out the scene ....

Maybe people are making assumptions about something they don't have accurate facts on.

Maybe he REALLY loves running

Maybe I'll turn up to work over the next six weeks even though I've given notice, since the bank still wants the money for the mortgage.
