Martin has done another fantastic job in compiling these rankings. It must be a Herculean task!
Of course there may be some results that haven't been published so you are able to submit bona fide verified results direct to him for inclusion.
An innovation this year is the inclusion of World Masters Rankings for the Half Marathon (as well as the Marathon). I saw results from Gold Coast, Canberra, and Melbourne.
This might be of interest to all you non track runners !!
Well done to Ron Peters on his 4th Place Ranking in the M50 - 54 10,000m (this April , Ron enters the next age group up and could be peerless!)
Also Jeanette Flynn who is head and shoulders the best W55-59 800m athlete in the World.
glenda
I'm pretty chuffed, 4th for the 5km and 6th for the 10km in my age group. But I agree Jeanette Flynn is awesome and as I have said before, Ron is a living legend.

Congratulations Glenda, that's impressive running! What's the secret? Are you still improving, focussed on age group pb's or incredibly talented and just relaxed about the whole caper?

Also noticed a couple of champions Liz Miller 2nd in the 800m and Keith Bateman top 10 in 1500 and 5000.
glenda
No talent , pretty focused last year to get a couple of age group records, worked hard , then unfortunately spent back half of year injured and now getting back into shape. 1 more year in this age group then hope to stay fit enough to snatch some records in next age group (45 -49). I don't think I will improve but I hope to go close to these times again. All the young blokes smashing me at speedwork are motivating me to train harder.

Hi guys. I got a 6th in the 800m, a 5th in the 1500m and a 6th in the 5000m in the W50. I missed the 10k, was hoping to get in a good one in late November but the race was cancelled due to a storm (bugger).
Oh well,
Congratulations Glenda. I'm sure I will see you around. I've seen your name in a few races. You are running sowell. You are an inspiration to me.
lactatehead
Well done to Kevin Solomon who is second fastest in the 1500m 60-64. A Richmond Harrier and thoroughly nice bloke.
lactatehead
Forgot to mention Anne Ziogos, another Richmond Harrier who ranks 27th in the marathon 50-54.
