Hi,

I would like to go down to Canberra for the Sri Chinmoy tri festival at the end of October. BF and I will probably make a 4-day weekend of it - me doing a tri, he bringing his bike too for a few other rides around our nations capital.

Does anyone have any recommendations on places to stay? Since we'll have both our bikes, we would like to find somewhere that would have somewhere secure to keep them while not actually riding?

Anyone done this event previously, and have comments?

I would just put the bike in the room with me. Don't know if they'd get upset over that though.

Thanks M12, that is probably the best bet. Might try to find somewhere with separate entrances so we don't have to take them through the lobby!

We went cycling in Austria earlier this year on a pre-booked but self-guided tour. A couple of the motels we stayed in had a garage we could use for the bikes, very convenient.
