I went on a similar ride a few years bak - the Great Victorian Bike Ride. I loved the riding part and meeting new people and all that. What I didn't like was getting a black eye from hitting myself in the head with a cricket bat as I tried to bounce up a soccer ball. I also didn't like a group of riders stopping at the bottom of a hill about 1km from the end of the ride.
If you get into camp early you can go back on the streets to make it 100km for the day.

M12 that sounds like a great idea ( ! ) it's a laid back ride pretty much. They give you somthing like 8 hours to complete 75Km's. So I'm sure they will be plenty of time to go on another ride.
That's about 3hrs riding at 25km/hr. What we did because we were fairly strong riders was leave camp last at about 8.30, stop at lunch for about an hour a half and then get into camp about 1pm. So basically take your time, enjoy it and relax.

Is 25Km/Ph a fast ride? slow? avarage?
20 is slow, 25 is average, 30 is good.
