Howdy all

Just wondering if anyone has thoughts or information on the latest annoucement;

""Anaconda Western Australia, has moved to Augusta""

I personally think it will be great, new location, new challenges and a great small town.

Which I am sure the Augusta pub/hotel will put on a descent post party.

Cheers

Was part of the Dunsborough one last year (loved it) and agree, I think augusta will be great. Sadly I will not be able to be in it this year, but def next year.

I agree, Augusta should be a great location for it yahoo.gif

Will be my first anaconda though (I'm doing the run leg only) so I don't have much to compare it with!! Already have accomodation booked so hopefully will get registered easily once registrations open - that's later this month right?

Didn't think about the pub after party - something else to look forward to biggrin.gif

I agree Augusta should be a great location. After 3 years in Dunsy it'll be good for a change of scenery.

My boyfriend is doing this as a team for the first time. He is doing the run and the swim. He wants to know does the swim come after the run? From the info on the website it looks like the run is first. Seems very strange to throw someone in the water after running 13km. Any info would be great, thanks

Hi Kilee, last year it went 1. Swim 2. Paddle 3. Run 4. cycle. I would have thought it would be the same order this year but I havent checked the site.
This is a hugely fun and challenging run.

Hi Kilee, since the race is moving to a new location this year they may have had to change the order of legs. This is adventure racing after all - expect the unexpected.

Howdy all;

Yes the order is different this year, Run, Swim, Paddle, MTB and Run. I assume this is more to link the correct stages up then anything else.

Seems like a very challenging course layout, will be good to see how all pans out.

Entires are starting to build up and will be good to see if they actually cut the numbers off at 500, which isn't many.

Good luck all.
